The team behind Thoughtified

Thoughtified apply innovations to solve challenges in industry and is passionate about delivering high quality solutions. Design, Research and Development quality is ensured on the inside and outside of all our projects, so that we build effective tools that are usable and are presented well. We personally evaluate every single element that our teams and contractors deliver.

Thoughtified uses agile development methodologies (delivering to the clients from very early stages and then re-iterating), to ensure that projects are completed efficiently and with success. We have used agile’s most successful representative Web framework, Ruby on Rails (the system behind successful companies like Twitter and Groupon) for years. More than a year ago, we gathered a team of mobile designers and developers, extended our agile approach to scrum for mobile applications and have secured "Thoughtified Apps" collaborations with the University of Surrey, the NHS, Natural England (and the Wildlife Trusts) and various clients, again with the same participatory sensing and dataset visualisation IP at the core of our operations.

Nick F Ryman-Tubb LinkedIn

Nick Ryman-Tubb started as a software engineer; by twenty Nick had produced and sold his own designed 8-bit rack-based computer, popular computer games and published many articles. Nick founded Tubb Research in 1986 and worked to help bring the world's first neural computing Integrated Circuit to market. In 1990, he founded Neural Technologies Limited to concentrate on the application of neural network software that he had created. Nick became well known in fraud detection and credit risk management and he pioneered products using this technology deploying in worldwide banks and telecoms firms. By 2000, the firm had reached a position where it continued to grow and no longer required such founder hands-on skills and Nick stepped down as CEO. Nick then founded MindsI to provide help to SMEs through business planning, funding and innovation. Nick joined Public Square Limited as Innovations Director where the award winning We-Pay-We-Say social website was pioneered designed to raise funds for the local community by the local community.

He became a Research Fellow at City University London researching state of the art neural-symbolic approaches at the Department of Computing and then moved on to the University of Surrey, as Director of Industrial Liaison, to carry on his leading edge neural computing research hands-on producing over 50,000 lines of software, a patent, papers and books and working with industry partners and experts to develop research into practical solutions.
